Acoustic Guitar Solo – Luckless John Pizer

Acoustic Guitar Solo – Luckless John Pizer

A return to simplicity, just making music. One and his guitar. This acoustic guitar solo is spliced from a longer recording. Bookended by tapping, the main section builds from a drone on the detuned guitar strings, reinforcing with octaves. Slowly, reverb and pink noise give the piece some space.

I stripped a number of hours of work from this piece, completely removed electronic tracks to return it to the original acoustic guitar solo. It is a simple piece, reminiscent of blues and raga, Macero and Eno.
